WakeCounty Information Technology is seeking an inquisitive Data Analyst to workunder the direction of the Data & Analytics team, directly supporting the Public Health Department. In this role, you will help leverage data to drive informeddecision-making, provide insights for optimizing business and clinicaloperations, and support strategic planning efforts. You will serve as a thoughtpartner to the Public Health Department team, translating complex data intoactionable insights. As part of this mission-driven environment, you will contributeto efforts that protect and improve community health by aligning datastrategies with the department's goals of promoting wellness, preventingdisease, and ensuring equitable access to essential services. Primary responsibilities include: • Develop and publish Power BI reports, dashboards, and other data driven reports • Work closely with the departmental business analysts and subject matter experts to understand the requirements and translate that into a reporting solution • Provide clear, insightful interpretation of available data • Follow established guidelines and best practices for analytics development and data quality • Assist with user testing and troubleshooting • Recommend and create visualizations based on analytics best practices For positions with a remote work option, all Wake County Government remote workers must reside in one of the following states or districts: North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas or Virginia.
