Sales Manager - Food, Industrial Hygiene & Petroleum Testing 📍 Houston, TX | On-site | Full-time 💰 Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 + Commission About the Company A fully accredited, independently owned laboratory specializing in food safety & quality testing, industrial hygiene, petroleum analysis, asbestos (PLM, PCM), and mold testing across the U.S. With over 30 years of expertise, advanced instrumentation, and deep regulatory knowledge, the company delivers accurate, reliable testing services to industries such as chemical, energy, food manufacturing, consulting, and government agencies. Role Overview We're looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead sales and business development in the Food, Industrial Hygiene, and Petroleum Testing sectors. This role is on-site in Houston, TX and requires 50% travel. The Sales Manager will drive revenue growth, build long-term client relationships, and align sales strategies with marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Expand sales pipeline & promote company vision. • Identify and convert new business opportunities. • Develop strategic sales plans targeting Food, Cosmetic, and Pharmaceutical industries. • Build partnerships with schools, multinational food companies, and agricultural corporations. • Pursue and convert leads from FDA Red Alert and FSVP importers. • Create and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and strategies (short-, medium-, long-term). • Maintain client records in LIMS and ensure seamless communication. • Collaborate with client services, lab operations, and marketing teams. • Conduct SWOT analysis to support sustainable sales growth. • Regular client visits, calls, and account management. Qualifications • 8+ years of relevant industry experience. • Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences. • Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025:2017, cGMP, FSMA, FSIS guidelines. • Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and self-motivation. • Proficient in LIMS and other sales software tools. • U.S. Citizenship required.
