Assist in analyzing and maintaining compensation programs, ensuring legal compliance, and supporting HR initiatives.
Minimum 2 years in compensation, HR, or related financial analysis, with experience in data extraction and analysis from relational databases.
Participates in the analysis, design, implementation, and administration of competitive compensation programs that are compliant, cost-effective, and support the enterprise’s compensation philosophy and strategic objectives. Communicate with management on a variety of related topics (i.e., policies, program philosophy, request results/recommendations, etc.) Develops, maintains, and audits policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with State and Federal laws as they relate to compensation Partners on the administration of the compensation function (i.e., job descriptions, position analysis/market pricing) also act as a resource for technical compensation questions Conducts job evaluations as needed and prepares and maintains job descriptions Analyzes positions to ascertain the scope of employee responsibilities and requirements and ensure alignment/compliance with applicable laws Reviews a wide range of relevant compensation data to ensure the company’s remuneration policies and practices are competitive and comply with relevant laws and regulations Participates in the submission of company data to approved compensation surveys and analyzes results, as compared to the organization Works on the creation and maintenance of the organization’s salary structure Identifies and analyzes general job market trends related to compensation Approves and recommends compensation changes based on recruitment activity and analysis of compensation related issues Works closely with other compensation analysts, managers, HR Business Partners, and Recruiting teams to solve compensation-related business problems Supports current HR initiatives and strategies Conduct training around compensation topics as needed Job Specifications Typically has the following skills or abilities: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, or related experience 2+ years of experience in compensation, benefits, HR Business Partner, and/or financial analysis Experience utilizing and extracting data from relational databases Experience in analyzing raw data and communicating the results to all levels of employees and management Demonstrated project and time management skills Ability to perform detailed work under strict deadlines Clear understanding of Employee relations principles and practices, as well as Customer service principles Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters and situations Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties #LI-VISIONCARE Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
