Our Core Focus Areas Include: · Employer Branding · Internal Communications · Culture & Storytelling · Talent Attraction · Media Strategy & Production · Employee Experience Role Overview We’re growing our team looking for an experienced business development contractor who can hit the ground running on day one, build meaningful relationships, and bring new clients into our pipeline quickly and responsibly. This is a contract role designed for a self-directed business development professional who knows how to identify the right companies with guidance, open doors, build trust, and move conversations toward partnership. Your primary targets will be mid-sized to enterprise organizations that need support with: • Employer branding strategy • Talent attraction and recruitment marketing • Company culture storytelling • Internal media ecosystems and communications • People operations and EX transformation Knowledge in areas such as talent acquisition, People Ops, HR tech, and employer brand is a significant advantage. You need to be able to “speak the language” of these teams, or learn fast. If you thrive in ambiguity, prefer autonomy over handholding, and know how to build a book of business through relationships rather than cold blasting, you’ll do well here. What You’ll Do • Identify and source potential clients in the mid-market and enterprise space • Build a healthy, qualified pipeline of employer brand, culture, and communications opportunities • Develop relationships with leaders across TA, People Operations, HR, Brand, and Communications • Conduct discovery conversations to understand organizational needs and position VPGC’s offerings and services • Collaborate with leadership to shape proposals and partnership structures • Track outreach, pipeline progress, and conversion metrics What We’re Looking For • Proven experience in business development or partnerships, ideally within creative services, HR tech, employer branding, or agency environments • Strong understanding of corporate functions such as Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Employer Brand, and Communications • Existing network or demonstrated ability to quickly develop one in these domains • Balanced relationship-builder and strategist, not just an outreach machine • Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight • Strong communication skills, with clear, concise, and professional follow-up • Comfortable with targets and transparent metrics • Knows how to open doors, but also how to nurture and convert opportunities Compensation • Monthly contract fee (fixed) • PLUS industry-leading commission for every client closed during this contract • Contract is 3 months, with strong potential for full-time hire based on performance Ideal Candidate Profile You thrive in a role where: • You operate like a partner, not an order-taker • You’re energized by outreach, conversations, and relationship-building • You understand how companies think about talent, culture, and storytelling • You prefer clarity, autonomy, and accountability • You want to grow into a senior partnerships or growth role at a modern creative consultancy How to Apply In ADDITION to applying via LinkedIn, please send the following to vince@vpgcreative.com: • A short note on why this role is a good fit • Your resume • Brief examples of partnerships or clients you’ve brought in previously • Please note that applicants will not be considered without the additional application email.
