Title : QA Automation Lead Location : Dallas, TX / St Louis, MO (Remote) Locals Only Duration : Long Term (W2 Only) ate : Visa Status : In-Person Interview : No Key Responsibilities • Lead QA planning, execution, and strategy for multiple product teams or releases. • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for regression, integration, and functional testing. • Perform manual testing to validate new features, user workflows, and edge cases. • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to define acceptance criteria and ensure comprehensive test coverage. • Establish and manage QA processes, standards, and best practices across teams. • Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents for clarity and testability. • Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines. • Identify, document, and track software defects; work with development teams to ensure timely resolution. • Mentor junior QA engineers and guide them in both manual and automated testing techniques. • Report on testing progress, quality metrics, and release readiness to stakeholders. Qualifications Required: • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including at least 2 years in a lead or senior QA role. • Proven experience with both manual testing and automated testing in web or API-based applications. • Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Postman. • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum processes. • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Java) for test automation. • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. • Experience with API testing and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git). • Experience testing in cloud environments (AWS). • Exposure to test management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, or TestRail.
