Breeden Law Office is a growing family law firm searching for a community oriented professional who has a proven track record of creating high quality digital content that speaks to prospective clients in an authentic brand voice. We believe in the power of small businesses to help people and to serve the community, and we are looking for a social media and community engagement manager who can use digital platforms to help us achieve those goals. Ultimately, the person in this role should be able to convey the voice of our brand across our social media and marketing efforts and be able to manage all community communications and social media interactions to maximize engagement and community building. Structure, Compensation, and Benefits: • Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week • $35-50 per hour depending on experience • Hours to be split between remote and on site work in our Garner office • Potential for a small amount of local travel within Wake, Johnston, and Harnett Counties of North Carolina to create original content Responsibilities: • Working with firm leadership and our marketing team to set specific, measurable objectives for social media and community engagement that are aligned with broad business goals, and to ensure a consistent and authentic brand voice • Implementing, evaluating, reporting, and revising social media and community engagement efforts using both qualitative and quantitative analysis in an ongoing, iterative process • Providing engaging original text, image, and video content for social media accounts, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok • Monitoring SEO and web traffic metrics and report on trends • Monitoring, reporting on, and responding appropriately to community feedback and online reviews • Growing community engagement with social media channels, newsletter, and podcast • Managing the behind-the-scenes side of our podcast, including securing guests, uploading raw files for processing (outsourced), providing finished assets to guests, and growing community engagement around this resource • Building relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals, and journalists • Staying up-to-date with digital media technology and related trends Qualifications: • Proven success as a social media manager and/or community manager (3+ years preferred) for a brand in a professional space • Hands-on experience in content creation and management • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, growing engagement through consistent, high-quality digital content, launching a podcast, and/or writing an email newsletter) • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics • Ability to identify, track, and report relevant metrics to evaluate the performance of social media, podcasts, and related content • Excellent oral and written communication, including copywriting • Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics and report trends • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels • Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to multitask • A BSc degree in Marketing or a relevant field, or equivalent successful work experience is nice to have, but we can train the right person: Some familiarity with law firm vocabulary and professional standards, including the need to make sure that content and prospective/retained client interactions do not violate Bar rules or professional norms About Company: Breeden Law Office is a fast-growing family law firm based in Garner, North Carolina and serving Johnston, Harnett, and Wake Counties.
