Job title: Senior Software Engineer - Hybrid Company: Automobile Club of Southern California Job description: Senior Software Engineer - Hybrid As our Senior Software Engineer, you will be a project mover, working as part of a pair programming team that will tackle insurance systems using test-driven development for a large, multistate auto club. What You’ll Do • Every day, you will be expected to apply and share your previous experience with the rest of your team, taking ownership of problems and solutions and moving the projects forward quickly and correctly. • You have the aptitude and the experience not only to find solutions, but to find the right solutions for the problems at hand. You should be able to explain the solution and why it is the best one to people with less experience or technical knowledge. • You’re willing to learn from others, even the junior developers, and trade-off knowledge with members of your team. What You’ll Need • To thrive in this role, you must understand cloud computing, serverless architecture, and system design. You have experience with full-stack front-end and back-end development. • You want to grow and advance as a person and as part of a team. • You work with integrity and enjoy collaboration and are comfortable in a 100% remote environment. • You have worked previously with an Agile team or understand these concepts. You expect to participate in daily standup meetings, you’ll complete your projects or stories during our sprints, and you’re ready to meet frequent deployment deadlines. #LI-KA1 The starting pay range for this position is $134,500 - $179,300 annually. Additionally, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
