This position will report directly to the Senior Director of Government Accounting & Compliance. In this role, you will support government accounting and compliance activities such as developing and submitting direct and indirect rate proposals; participating in numerous DCAA/DCMA financial and business system audits; analyzing and reporting of indirect rates, general ledger details, project expenditures and unallowable costs. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of the company’s annual forward pricing rate proposals and annual incurred cost proposals Support and coordinate cross-functional participation in numerous government financial and business system audits Track expenditures and revenue by immediate and end user customers to support internal analyses and external government reporting Prepare and analyze monthly reports of indirect rates, general ledger details, project expenditures and unallowable costs Support cost accounting language changes related to disclosure statement and the analysis of cost impacts Analyze and maintain cost accounting information in the financial systems in order to ensure accuracy and compliance with government accounting regulations Assist and support Government Accounting & Compliance and business management teams as necessary to help ensure Oracle ERP modules are compliant with applicable accounting and business system criteria Other duties as assigned Skills and Experience: Experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business 8+ years relevant experience (6+ if Master’s / MBA) CPA and/or Government Contract Accounting preferred Experience in U.S. DoD contracting industry Must be a US Citizen Required Skills: Strong financial and business analytical and problem solving skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong organizational and effective time management skills with ability to multi-task Strong attention to detail and accuracy Self-starter and highly motivated Ability to achieve deadlines and work independently when required Ability to interface and work with various cross functional teams and work effectively across various levels of the organization Ability to interface with various US Government and internal teams in order to support accounting and business system audits and reviews Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and formulas) and other Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint) Familiarity with US Government rules and regulations such as CAS, FAR, DFARS and AMS preferred Familiarity with Oracle E-business Suite, IFS or other ERP systems preferred Citizenship Requirements: Must be a U.S. citizen.
