About the Role We are currently looking for a dedicated and personable Key Account Manager to develop and maintain customer accounts and serve as a main point of contact. Responsibilities Our ideal candidate represents the company in a professional manner and demonstrates openness to accept change and innovative ideas while cooperating with others in a spirit of mutual respect and responsibility for the duties assigned to them. • Adherence to federal and local law regulations, internal policies and other applicable rules including IATF 16949, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 requirements • Continuous improvement of work and activities • Compliance with the corporate mission statement • Cooperation with other people in spirit of mutual respect • Fulfilling thoroughly all tasks within the scope of defined qualifications and responsibilities • Represent the company in professional and respectful manner • Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information • Project management (internal and international) • Adherence to 5S principles • Communicates with customers on a technical and commercial level • Handles engineering problems requiring appreciable technical skill and ingenuity. • Interacts with our Headquarters in Germany • Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and Hirschvogel. • Resolving key client issues and complaints, serving as liaison between our customer needs and our product solution providing feedback on areas of opportunity. • Developing a complete understanding of key account needs and plans. • Anticipating key account changes and improvements, • Outstanding communication skills written and verbal, with the ability to influence and gain the confidence of customers. • Have the ability to build quick, strong alliances and business relationships with customers at all levels in the organization. • Self-motivated & self-directed team player with great leadership potential and strong vision to grow with the company • Achieving automotive business development strategies for the North American Market Location & Commitments • Must Reside in Detroit Metro Area not Columbus OH • Permanent, Full Time, Remote • Overtime, Alternate shifts, and Weekends may be necessary for business needs. • Travel 50% of the time • Must dress suitable for management level contact with customers Candidate Requirements • Bachelors degree in an engineering or technology related discipline, preferably in mechanical or industrial is desired but not necessary. • Experience in Automotive and Business Management or Technical Engineering Required • Expertise in reading blueprints, knowledge and understanding in manufacturing environment particularly Automotive Industry.
