Job title: IT Sales Support and Procurement Specialist - Fully Remote - Northeast Division Company: Magna5 MS LLC Job description: Description: Magna5 provides a portfolio of managed IT services, including network and desktop management, cybersecurity, private and public cloud services and back-up and disaster recovery, to name a few. This position will is a vital connector between our sales and engineering teams in relation to the proper selection, configuration and quoting of IT hardware and software for our client engagements. Key Responsibilities: • Interface with key distributors and manufacturers to generate quotes, place orders and communicate and manage delivery timelines to stakeholders • Work with sales and engineering teams to create complex hardware and software proposals and ensure that the needed and desired options and capabilities are being included in quotes and contracts • Act as a liaison between the sales and engineering teams as needed to make sure that the proper equipment and software is being ordered • Responsible for Microsoft365 and Microsoft Azure order fulfillment • Become the final checkpoint for hardware and software orders to ensure that all pricing is accurate, and the appropriate descriptions and sales language has been included using the appropriate presentation formats before being provided to a client • Be able to work independently to ensure all processes and procedures are being followed and all relevant systems are being kept up to date • Stay current on industry trends to help ensure that Magna5 is offering the latest software and hardware products and that our practices are up to date • Understand all the latest marketing programs, product pricing, training and certification requirements/opportunities and incentives being offered by our suppliers • Continually look for ways to drive process and systems improvements • Interact with clients when needed promptly and professionally • In general work closely as a member of the team of sales and service professionals to provide the highest level of service to our clients • Willingness to participate in certification processes necessary to attain vendor partnership levels Requirements: What You Bring to the Team: • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Minimum of 3 years in the IT industry with a substantial portion of that time working for a Value- Added Reseller (VAR), Managed Service Provider (MSP) or hardware distributor. • Experience interfacing with customers with an ability to understand their needs • Experience working with IT suppliers and distributors • Ability to prioritize workload based on urgency of requests • Enjoy working in a team environment, establishing effective working relationships with executives, sales, account managers and key business partners.
