About the Position The ServiceNow HR Specialist - Business Application Advisor will be a key player in our HR digital transformation journey. This position requires a unique blend of business acumen, technical knowledge, and interpersonal skills to lead process discovery, translate business needs into technical requirements, collaborate on configurations, and ensure continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR process optimization, ServiceNow HRSD modules, and experience in working with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Business Process Leadership: Lead process discovery workshops, document current business processes, identify pain points, and gather detailed business requirements to inform ServiceNow configurations and customizations. • Gap Analysis: Compare current business processes with ServiceNow capabilities to identify areas for automation, customization, or improvement, ensuring alignment with best practices within the HR ServiceNow domain. • Process Improvement: Provide recommendations for workflow improvements based on best practices, ensuring that our HR processes are efficient, effective, and user-friendly. • Translation of Business Requirements to Technical Specifications: Translate business requirements into clear, detailed functional and technical specifications for developers and administrators to configure ServiceNow, ensuring that technical solutions meet business needs. • Configuration and Customization Support: Collaborate with technical teams to configure modules, implement customizations, and ensure that technical solutions align with business objectives, reviewing the work of technical teams to ensure specifications are met. • Reporting and Analytics: Work with HR and business teams to define key reporting requirements, design and implement dashboards and reports, and provide guidance on data migration, ensuring data integrity and proper mapping between systems. • Post-Go-Live Optimization and Support: Analyze system performance and user feedback to suggest optimizations or new features, leading initiatives for workflow enhancements or additional automation opportunities, and participating in the creation and review of training materials. • Stakeholder Management: Act as the point of contact for cross-functional communication, ensuring that business, technical teams, and stakeholders are aligned throughout the implementation and beyond, and collaborating with the change management team to support the transition of new workflows and processes. Essential Qualifications • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems, or a related field. • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of equivalent work experience in an information technology or engineering environment, with a focus on HR process optimization and ServiceNow implementations. • Technical Skills: Familiarity with ServiceNow HRSD modules, workflow automation, and system configuration, as well as basic scripting knowledge and experience with integrations between ServiceNow and other HR systems. • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Highly independent, future-oriented, and knowledgeable in strategic planning, with the ability to influence and support cross-functional project teams to achieve optimal results for the business. Preferred Qualifications • Advanced Degree: Master's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems, or a related field. • Additional Experience: Experience in working with cross-functional teams, leading process discovery workshops, and collaborating with technical teams to drive business outcomes. • Certifications: ServiceNow certifications, such as ServiceNow HRSD Certification or ServiceNow Administration Certification.
