The Opportunity As a member of the Huron corporate team, you'll help to evolve our business model to stay ahead of market forces, industry trends, and client needs. Our accounting, finance, human resources, IT, legal, marketing, and facilities management professionals work collaboratively to support Huron's collective strategies and enable real transformation to produce sustainable business results. We're looking for a seasoned professional to lead our Global Mobility and International Talent Management team. As a Director, Global Mobility and International Talent Management, Human Resources, you'll develop and manage a scalable global mobility program to meet business requirements for global talent and provide a high-quality experience to company employees. This is a highly visible and exciting role managing a small mobility volume which is expected to grow with company expansion. Key Responsibilities • Develop, implement, and refine a global mobility strategy and delivery model to enhance overall program effectiveness while balancing company cost with employee needs. • Lead and provide direction to internal staff and external suppliers in delivery of immigration/business travel compliance, assignments and relocations, and related tax services. • Maintain an operationally effective mobility program including end-to-end process, program communications, health of the services, and ensuring new or changing requirements/demands of the services are met and executed timely. • Lead international assignment tax policy and processes related to mobility services. • Ensure mobility program communications (policies, process, intranet, business communications) are effective and the benefits and services are communicated accurately, consistently, and professionally. • Lead policy development and ensure processes are updated to align with mobility policies. • Understand market competitive practices driving strategy and services to align both with business requirements and market competitive practices. • Maintain a caseload, including executive or other transfers, in order to support the team and services. • Manage escalations and identify, assess, and resolve complex problems. • Accountable to manage service provider relationships, quality, and overall performance. • Lead related compliance activities to ensure accurate financial recording of benefit costs and compliance with laws and regulations. Supports audits of services. • In partnership with Tax, Payroll, and Legal, support research and solutions for cross-entity hiring and global assignments. • Embrace the role of advisor to the business and business leaders to share knowledge, influence, and build confidence in the services. • Partner closely with various stakeholders and process partners to provide expertise on all aspects of the mobility services and process delivery and to educate on market best practices. • Define and operationalize clear KPI metrics and provide regular reporting dashboards. • Conduct invoice reviews, audits, and approvals to support the team and services. • Coach, mentor, and develop the Global Mobility team to build knowledge and skills. • Implement and lead voice of the customer activities to capitalize on feedback and improve program performance. • Stay informed and educated of changing mobility industry best practices. • Participate with external partners and industry networks to benchmark and update existing program and drive continuous improvements. Essential Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or related field of study. • 8+ years' experience in global mobility and international assignment management, including cross-border activities, global immigration, assignment tax, business travelers, and international transfers. • 5+ years' experience managing vendor relationships and supplier performance/governance. • 5+ years' experience in leading direct reports. • Demonstrated experience managing complex end-to-end services, structuring lean processes, and measuring program performance using metrics and KPIs. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent organization and prioritization skills. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with mobility technology platforms and/or Workday. • Knowledge and application of country laws. • Industry certification (SHRM/PHR/SPHR, GPHR, GMS, or other relevant certification). • Demonstrated ability to interface with leaders at all levels of the organization. • Experience in a global consulting firm is a plus. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits The estimated base salary range for this job is $165,000-$230,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $214,500-$299,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans, which include: • Medical, dental, and vision coverage. • Other wellness programs.
