[ad_1] Job Details Job Location: Corporate Office – Chattanooga, TN Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: Undisclosed Description Summary The CORE Professional Development Manager is responsible for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and partners to develop, promote, and execute high-quality professional development services aligned with the Company’s values and industry best practices. The position is responsible for management and ongoing development of world-class learning opportunities, content strategy, engagement, education management systems, continuing education accreditations, continuous quality improvement, and maximizing return on investment. The ideal candidate is creative, detailed-oriented, results-driven, customer-devoted, and self-motivated. The job requires knowledge of adult learning and delivery systems, ability to develop and deliver content, attention to detail, outstanding organization and time management skills, excellent written/verbal communication skills, and an enthusiasm to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and team members to deliver world-class professional development services. Qualifications Essential Duties and Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): • Support the development of departmental systems for replicable, consistent, and high-quality continuing education and professional development delivery through a variety of formats, tailored events, and diverse topics. • Manage professional development services by planning and supporting the development of content, presentations, and resources in collaboration with brands, external partners/scholars, and industry experts to reach a variety of target customer audiences. • Design, develop, and deliver effective and engaging learning experiences and supporting materials and ensure accommodations to meet the unique needs and goals of adult learners. • Manage CEU policies/procedures, certification of instructors, marketing, and program evaluation for learning events to ensure adherence to relevant continuing education accreditations/certifications and reporting (IACET, LACES, AIA, state approvals, etc.) and report on KPI’s. • Lead virtual/webinar calendar of events, processes, and services to effectively target primary and secondary markets and gain thought leadership and additional exposure through alternative learning opportunities. • Create multi-modality and multimedia training content, presentations, and resources for in-person and virtual delivery on a variety of topics to complement our portfolio of products, programs, and services. • Manage the annual conference calendar for targeted events where CORE educational sessions are offered by leading the conference proposal process and submission across brands. • Support a variety of professional development events, trade shows, webinars, and conference sessions to serve as presenter/spokesperson/exhibit representative and to aggressively share industry trends and best practices. • Support Certified Instructors across brands and manage training and resource library with current presentations, processes, and tools for delivery and continuous quality improvement. • Manage the evaluation of professional development services to demonstrate outcomes, make data-driven decisions, and maximize return on investment by managing, tracking, and benchmarking reports. • Manage departmental budget effectively. • Support internal communications, community/industry involvement, and corporate values. • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by the CORE Community Outreach Director. Minimum Job Requirements: • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college required. Advanced degree/experience in the instructional design or parks and recreation field expertise preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience required with demonstrated knowledge and passion for play, health and wellness, and/or park and recreation, including relevant industry trends and funding streams. • Significant training and public speaking experience required. • Significant experience creating and delivering high-quality educational presentations, resources, and dynamic learning experiences for adult learners across interdisciplinary professionals. • Significant experience addressing diverse learning styles, accessibility, and implementation of best practices in instructional design (in person and virtual). • Travel required for approximately 30% of role/responsibilities. • Excellent computer and technology skills such as (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, Adobe, Zoom, and online learning management systems (Elevate), Hub Spot, Survey Monkey, graphic design platforms (Canva/Visme), interactive training tools, web governance tools, etc.). • Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and be highly responsive in a fast-paced environment.
