Job title: Senior Sourcing Specialist Company: BDS Connected Solutions Job description: At a Glance Our Sourcing Specialists are creative, resourceful, motivated, and an integral part of the BDS Connected Solutions remote, nationwide Talent Acquisition Team. Overview PURPOSE: As a Sourcing Specialist, you are responsible for partnering with our Recruiters to identify qualified talent for current and future hiring needs. You will target and connect with both passive and active candidates through social media, job boards, local resources, and industry research. You will also accelerate our sourcing and recruitment efficacy by staying up to date on trends and best practices with recruitment tools and resources. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Attend and actively participate in weekly sourcing strategy and recruiter team meetings • Run daily reports to determine sourcing needs across assigned team(s) • Support and promote best practices for recruitment initiatives including ATS and candidate pipeline initiatives, employment branding campaigns, and Employee Referral Program • Assist Recruiters in gathering information on market intelligence, competitive patterns, industry best practices, etc. • Communicate on a regular basis with Recruiters to foster a close business relationship • Provide timely and consistent updates to Recruiters and Talent Acquisition Management • Assist Recruiters with improving job postings to attract more candidates • Perform passive sourcing by searching for and extending communication to candidates through tools such as job boards, social media, resume books, universities, and specific in-market resources • Other duties as assigned by management EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience • 2+ years of experience in a sourcing or recruiting-related role required • Experience working within a high-volume, fast-paced setting and in a related industry (3PL, field marketing, retail) highly preferred • Experience using/working within applicant tracking systems and job boards required SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: • Advanced sourcing skills using Indeed and LinkedIn • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills • Able to partner with multiple team members and multi-task different projects simultaneously • Detail-oriented, with strong follow up skills • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills • Adaptable to changes in work and structure • Dependable and consistent • Demonstrate willingness to accept new responsibilities and respond positively to management instructions and direction • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality • Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
