Position Summary Join Walmart – VIZIO as a Senior Manager, Software Engineering and lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that power the future of smart home and retail technology. We collaborate closely with product, UX, and business partners to deliver solutions that are reliable, future-proof, and aligned with Walmart’s strategic vision. As a senior leader, you’ll play a key role in driving technical excellence and innovation across our suite of applications. What You’ll Do • Architect and lead the design of complex, distributed systems and applications • Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineering teams • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate business needs into technical solutions • Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment • Drive system performance, scalability, and reliability improvements What You’ll Bring • 8+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years in technical leadership or architecture • Proven experience with large-scale, distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Proficiency in Java, Python, Go, Node.js, or C++ • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines • Strong communication skills and a track record of cross-functional collaboration At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
