Summary In this role, you will serve as a key bridge between raw data, machine learning models, and actionable business intelligence. Position will analyze AI outputs, monitor model performance, and help shape data strategies that improve business outcomes. Position will solve complex problems, translate model outputs into meaningful insight, and contribute to the responsible use of AI in healthcare and enterprise operations. Responsibilities Analyze and interpret outputs from machine learning models, including classification, regression, clustering, and NLP systems. Create visualizations, dashboards, and reports that contextualize model results and align them with business KPIs. Collaborate with data scientists to define metrics for model performance, fairness, and drift detection. Develop systems and workflows for ongoing monitoring of model usage, performance, and impact. Help design experiments (e.g., A/B tests) to validate the business effectiveness of deployed models. Identify edge cases and failure patterns to inform retraining or refinement. Work with structured and semi-structured data from diverse sources (e.g., EMRs, billing systems, survey data, etc.). Clean, normalize, and analyze datasets used in ML pipelines to ensure quality and relevance. Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to support hypothesis testing, data modeling, and discovery Partner with product managers, engineers, clinicians, and business users to ensure AI insights are understandable and actionable. Qualifications Relevant degree preferred. 2 or more years relevant experience in an analyst, data science or AI support role is required. Strong experience and knowledge of SQL and Python Experience with ML concepts, common model types and evaluation metrics (AUC, F1, MAPE, confusion matrix). Experience with BI/visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Plotly Dash. Strong communication skills and comfort working in cross-functional teams. Experience with Databricks, Jupyter Notebooks or ML flow for model tracking preferred. Background in healthcare, life sciences, or similarly regulated data domains preferred. Understanding of AI governance principles, including bias, fairness and transparency preferred. Estimated Hiring Range At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $135,400.00. This position is also incentive eligible. Vizient has a comprehensive benefits plan!
