Job Overview: The Supply Chain Specialist Intern will support daily warehouse and supply chain operations, including inventory management, replenishment coordination, and shipment tracking. This role offers hands-on exposure to end-to-end supply chain processes in a fast-paced distribution environment. Responsibilities and Duties: • Assist with inventory tracking and reconciliation at the Gardena Warehouse • Support store replenishment planning and transfer order execution • Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, including ETAs and delivery status • Help analyze inventory availability, stock levels, and shortages • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (warehouse, logistics, planning, stores) • Maintain accurate records in ERP/WMS systems (e.g., Heartland or similar) • Assist with cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and adjustments • Prepare basic reports on inventory, fill rates, and transit times • Support special projects related to process improvement and cost optimization Qualifications: • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in the Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations, or related field • Strong analytical and organizational skills • Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables preferred) • Ability to work in a warehouse/distribution environment • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills • Good communication skills in a team-based environment Preferred Qualifications • Previous internship or coursework in supply chain or logistics • Familiarity with ERP, WMS, or inventory systems • Basic understanding of retail replenishment or distribution operations Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Referral program • Vision insurance Ability to Commute: • Gardena, CA 90248 (Required) Work Location: In person
