5+ years IT infrastructure experience, 5+ years leadership experience, bachelor's degree or equivalent, strong organizational and communication skills.
Reporting directly to the Vice President Infrastructure Operations within the Information Technology department, the Infrastructure Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's IT infrastructure. This includes managing servers, networks, storage, cloud services, and end-user support systems. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure system reliability, security, and scalability. Duties include maintaining system uptime, troubleshooting incidents, implementing infrastructure projects, and supporting business operations with effective technology solutions. Responsibilities: • Lead and manage Visual Comfort's IT Infrastructure resources, setting priorities, providing direction, and ensuring alignment with business needs. • Own and administer the VCC M365 tenant, including Exchange, OneDrive, Teams, and related services, while implementing unified standards. • Manage on-premise physical servers and VMware environments at all VCC locations, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance. • Implement and maintain IT security controls to safeguard infrastructure against threats and vulnerabilities. • Oversee and manage server and workstation backup and recovery processes to ensure data protection and business continuity. • Partner with the Business Continuity Manager to design and execute site server recovery and resiliency plans. • Design, implement, and support GPO policies, Outlook email retention standards, and related IT governance frameworks. • Support domain consolidation efforts, reducing reliance on consultants and driving internal ownership of infrastructure. • Assist with SharePoint administration and contribute to optimization of collaboration platforms. • Take ownership of and lead special projects as assigned, driving IT initiatives that align with organizational goals. • Works effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems. • Exhibits and adheres to the established Visual Comfort Company Values. • Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule. While being present in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teams.
