Description POSITION SUMMARY The Outside Sales Representative will develop and execute a sales strategy to be successful in a highly competitive environment. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, highly motivated, customer service-minded individual with good presentation and closing skills. Candidates with experience and a background in some form of the CPG Industry, Warehousing, GMP Compliance and Logistics are encouraged to apply. POSITION DETAILS • Generate new leads and customers through various prospecting avenues. • Call on target, current, and prospective customers consistent with our ideal customer profile to generate sales, improve market share, and increase revenue • Sell accounts on 3PL services, quality and offering solutions to improve customer methods and procedures. Value Added Service - Kitting & Assembly • Maintain a sales pipeline sufficient to support in meeting or exceeding sales goals • Develop and maintain strategic account plans for top customers and prospects • Acquire system knowledge and competence, both operational and informational, to perform all functions at a professional level • Work with internal Operations and Quality teams to ensure customers' needs are met and UPH metrics are obtained based on initial pricing strategy • Complete weekly sales reports • Some travel required (Main Region: Cincinnati OH (100 Mile Radius) Requirements POSITION REQUIREMENTS • 5+ years of previous outside selling experience. Spirits, Health & Beauty, Food & Beverage and Automotive experience is a plus. • Must have the ability to build or currently have a base of key contacts and relationships. • Must be a self-starter, enthusiastic, driven, and self-motivated • Excellent communication skills, networking (interpersonal, verbal, and written) • Proven prospecting, follow-up, and value-added consultative selling skills • Must demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to our company culture • Must possess a valid driver's license • Basic computer skills (working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
