What we’re looking for The Senior Manager, Provider Networks is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of pharmacy contracts, including negotiation, and implementation. This role requires a deep understanding of the pharmacy and discount card industry, focusing on drug pricing, reimbursement methodologies, and pharmacy benefit management, with the goal of ensuring optimal outcomes for patients and customers. What you’ll be doing • Manage and negotiate contracts with pharmacy partners as well as individual pharmacies, PSAOs, PBMs, and strategic partners to deliver broad access to customers. • Maintain a strong working knowledge of pharmacy contracting discount card models, reimbursement structures and all current agreements. • Stay up to date on industry and policy changes as well as regulatory considerations. • Collaborate cross-functionally with pricing, legal, operations, finance, and product to ensure contract aligns with company strategy and objectives. • Research industry trends, competitor positioning, and best practices for discount card programs and alternative access models. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster collaboration, drive long-term value and support network stability. Required Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field · Minimum of 5 years’ experience in contract management, preferably in the pharmacy/ healthcare industry · Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and the pharmacy discount card space. · Excellent negotiation and communication skills. · Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions. · Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally. · Proven ability to manage multiple negotiations at one time. · Ability to maintain, deepen and create new relationships with pharmacy partners.
