Role: IT Program Manager Finance Systems & Transformation Location: On site in Farmington Hills, MI (Western suburb of Detroit) Job Type: 12 months Contract Submittal Requirements 3-5 Must Haves (need to be present on resume) • Strong IT Project/ Program Management experience with Finance Systems • Experience working closely with Finance Teams and Applications, prior hands-on Finance experience is a big plus • Must have OneStream experience • Experience working in manufacturing, ideally automotive is strongly preferred Job Description IT Program Manager Finance Systems & Transformation Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to lead strategic initiatives focused on finance systems modernization and transformation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial systems, finance transformation programs. This role requires exceptional leadership, program management skills, and the ability to partner with finance and technology stakeholders to deliver enterprise-wide solutions. Key Responsibilities • Program Leadership: • Drive end-to-end delivery of finance transformation programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategy. • Manage scope, timelines, budgets, and resources across multiple projects within the program. • Finance Systems Expertise: • Oversee implementation, integration, and optimization of OneStream and related financial platforms. • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements. • Stakeholder Management: • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and executive leadership to define program goals and success metrics. • Communicate progress, risks, and mitigation plans to senior stakeholders. • Governance & Risk Management: • Establish program governance frameworks and ensure adherence to best practices. • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across projects. • Change Management & Adoption: • Develop strategies for user adoption and training to maximize ROI on finance systems investments. • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in finance processes. Required Qualifications • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred). • Experience: • 8+ years of IT program/project management experience, with at least 5 years in finance systems and transformation initiatives. • Proven experience implementing and managing OneStream solutions. • Strong understanding of financial processes (planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation). • Skills: • Expertise in program governance, budgeting, and resource management. • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills. • Familiarity with ERP systems and integration with financial platforms. Preferred Qualifications • PMP, PgMP, or similar program management certification. • Experience in large-scale finance transformation programs within global organizations. • Knowledge of cloud-based financial solutions and emerging technologies.
