The Business System Configuration Analyst will configure the Mortgage Cadence Platform and other systems, interpret business requirements, and update technical documentation. This role also involves executing system configuration, supporting quality assurance, and collaborating with various teams to ensure project success.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with 5 years of experience with the Mortgage Cadence Platform and 3 years in business analysis and mortgage-related roles. Knowledge of the mortgage loan process and experience with system administration/configuration are also required.
The Opportunity: We are seeking a Business System Configuration Analyst to play a critical role in supporting the Business Technology team’s goals of implementing new mortgage technology and managing the ongoing support of the platforms. This role entails working closely with business analysts, business users, PMO, training, technical writing, product & strategy team, and senior operations leadership. As a Business System Configuration Analyst with Visio, you will contribute to the Technology Department by: Configuring the Mortgage Cadence Platform, an industry-leading Loan Origination technology system, as well as other systems utilized by the Visio operations teams Interpreting business requirement documents and configuring the solution utilizing the administration tools associated with the platform Updating technical documentation, such as workflow documents, policy and procedures, and supporting defect resolution and system configuration enhancements Executing system configuration and unit testing against documented requirements Performing system configuration efforts, including data mapping efforts for data import and extract files, configuring workflow, user set-up and security definition, business rules, product and pricing, as well as third-party services Collaborating with Business Analysts to understand business requirements, with the ability to convert requirements into an effective system configuration Supporting quality assurance and user acceptance testing, triaging and correcting reported bugs or defects Working with internal groups and outside vendors to ensure successful and quality project completion Other responsibilities and duties as assigned based on business needs Work Schedule: Monday–Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm CST Available Remote Locations: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, NC, OH, SC, TX, UT Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000 (Exempt level position) What We Are Looking For: Someone with a High school diploma/GED equivalent Someone with 5 years of experience with the Mortgage Cadence Platform Someone with 3 years of Business Analyst experience Someone with 3 years of mortgage-related experience Someone with 3 years of system administration/configuration experience Someone with knowledge of the mortgage loan process, specifically experience in origination, processing, underwriting, closing/funding, title/closing, and post-close Someone with a strong understanding of workflow design Someone with knowledge of SDLC lifecycles, such as Waterfall and Agile Someone who has experience in Azure DevOps or an equivalent system Someone who has experience in SQL Management Studio, XML, Data Mapping, VB, and C# Someone with the ability to use standard office equipment, printer, scanner, copier, fax, telephone, personal computer, and other peripheral devices Internal Applicants: 6 months of Visio Lending work experience, which includes no disciplinary actions within the last 3 months. What We prefer to find: Someone with experience working on projects related to the mortgage loan lifecycle, from loan setup through post-closing Someone with experience in the end-to-end implementation of large lending applications Someone with experience in the business analyst capacity of Originations, Processing, Underwriting, Closing/Funding, and or Post Close Someone with knowledge of the Secondary Mortgage Market
