VCS is looking for Customer Service Operator -Driving Required for one of our clients at Cedar Creek, TX 78612. Pay rate: $17.93/hr Contract: 12 months with possible extension Work Days: Monday-Sunday Work Hours: 8am-5pm (Consecutive weekends and holidays required) Must Have: - One or more years of experience in providing customer service and answering a multi-line telephone. - Driver's license General Overview: - Operates, receives and routes calls using a telephone and performs associated clerical work utilizing information systems for data retrieval. - Greets and assists callers, determines the nature of callers' business and connects the call to appropriate staff. - May serve as back up personnel to Client's reception area desks. - Operates a telephone to connect calls to appropriate staff. - Makes a good first impression to customers by being responsive, friendly, professional and helpful. - Performs clerical work associated with calls such as using an online directory and intranet web pages. - Greets and assists callers, determines the nature of callers' business and provides appropriate information. - Listens to customer and follows procedures set forth in handling customer concerns and/or complaints. - Contacts service providers and repair personnel to report and resolve equipment trouble and service difficulties. - Responds to a high volume of calls and interactions with employees. - Provides support to employees for end-user voicemail password resets and conference call bridge set-up requests. - Logs calls regarding these issues and actions taken into incident tracking system. - Works in a team setting, sharing information and assisting others with calls. - Trains new staff and temporary workers on departmental operations and procedures. - In the event of an emergency situation, may assist in coordination of building evacuation, staff notification or various other support duties. - Participates in cross-training activities, cross-departmental sharing of knowledge and, when appropriate, cross-departmental developmental assignments. - Shares knowledge and expertise with others, developing a pipeline of possible successors. - Learns from others in different roles and different departments to expand knowledge. Individually reports to other park locations as needed. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Knowledge of client's departments and subject matter experts - Skill in verbal and written communication - Skill in operating a multiline telephone - Skill in providing customer service Intermediate skill level in office productivity applications (such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.) - Ability to work in a team environment Work Environment: - Work hours are spent in an office environment - Work is confined to a particular work space which requires relief to leave Physical Demands: - Work involves frequent finger/hand manipulation in using a keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone Thank you!
