Role Overview We are seeking a Part-Time Blog Writer with a background in journalism, legal reporting, or legal writing to power our specialized immigration law blog. This postition can be remote within the United States. This role centers on producing weekly blog posts that break down complex immigration law developments into timely, accessible, and practitioner-focused content. The ideal candidate is not only a skilled writer but also understands how to write for a professional blog — delivering content that is clear, engaging, and optimized for our audience of immigration lawyers and legal practitioners. This position will report to the Legal Content Manager. Key Responsibilities • Research and draft weekly blog posts covering U.S. immigration law updates, trends, and policy changes. • Translate complex legal concepts into clear, concise, blog-ready content tailored for a professional readership. • Work closely with the Immigration Content Manager to refine tone, style, and editorial voice. • Monitor immigration policy announcements, court rulings, and regulatory developments to identify timely blog topics. • Edit and fact-check all posts to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with professional standards. Requirements • Background in journalism, legal reporting, or legal writing (immigration law experience highly desirable). • Strong research, writing, and editing skills with a focus on digital/blog-style content. • Ability to synthesize complex information into engaging, practitioner-friendly articles. • Self-starter comfortable working independently in a remote setting. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
