A company is looking for a Vice President of Underwriting. Key Responsibilities Oversee standard underwriting decisions for complex risks and manage high-level exceptions Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain knowledge of filing regulations Lead underwriting audits and provide expertise in reinsurance arrangements Required Qualifications Progressive underwriting experience in high-net-worth or Private Client personal lines insurance Expertise in complex risk evaluation, including high-TIV and CAT-exposed risks Strong knowledge of regulatory filings and compliance Demonstrated ability to mentor and train underwriting professionals Experience managing audits and third-party vendor relationships
