A company is looking for a Medication Access Specialist to assist patients with access to benefits and financial assistance for specialty medications. Key Responsibilities Act as a liaison between the pharmacy, insurance providers, and patients to communicate financial assistance options Review and document patient information to identify barriers and eligibility for prescription assistance Facilitate access to prescription medications by addressing formulary issues, copay concerns, and eligibility for assistance programs Required Qualifications Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree in Health Science, Business, or related field preferred One year of experience in healthcare, business, finance, or insurance preferred CPhT certification preferred Participation in compliance program objectives is required Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
