A company is looking for a Medical Coding Specialist. Key Responsibilities Perform daily charge review and input charges into practice management systems or EMR Audit physician and clinical staff documentation for accurate coding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCs Assist practice leadership in analyzing data and developing audit programs to improve coding compliance Required Qualifications Professional coding certification is required Minimum of 4 years coding experience preferred 2 years' experience in chart audits or coding in a physician practice / hospital environment is required CPC Certification through the AAPC is preferred Knowledge of Medical Oncology / Radiation / Surgery coding is highly preferred
