Key Responsibilities Review and analyze inpatient medical records to assign accurate diagnostic and procedural codes Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, regulatory requirements, and payer-specific rules Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff for documentation clarification and validation of coding accuracy Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is required Associate's degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or a related field is preferred Current CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) certification is required Minimum of 2 years of recent, continuous inpatient coding experience Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and DRG assignment
