Opportunity Virtual Service Operations is searching for a Deskside Support Technician to join our team and help us support one of our great clients, including on-site support in Tempe, AZ. As the IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within the organization by setting up and troubleshooting IT equipment, including laptops, monitors, and printers. You will also provide technical assistance to end-users, helping them navigate common issues and ensuring their technology needs are met. This role will focus on being on-site twice a week to help support users, and the occasional support of remote users. A successful IT Support Technician provides excellent technical support with a cheerful and professional attitude. In this role you will be a part of our growing relationship with one of our newest clients and have responsibilities in Desktop Support such as: • Hardware & Software Support: Install, troubleshoot, and maintain laptops, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment • IMAC Services: Handle PC installations, moves, adds, and changes with precision • System Management: Perform image loads, asset recovery, and equipment tagging • User Support: Provide friendly, professional assistance through our Client Center (Tech Bar) • Documentation: Maintain accurate IT service management records and ticketing updates • Relationship Building: Contribute to our expanding partnership with a key client Qualifications • Previous desktop support experience preferred • Knowledge of PC imaging processes • Experience with change management and incident management protocols • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems Preferred Qualifications • CompTIA A+ certification • Inventory control expertise • RingCentral CX/EX experience Requirements • Must be within driving distance of Tempe, Arizona, and willing to work onsite • Must be willing to join our team on a temporary basis • Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs • Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time • Must be able to walk up and down stairs or ramps • Must be able to kneel and work under desks or in confined spaces What is Important to Us: • You are an excellent communicator in writing and speaking. • You have the ability to work independently but also value teamwork. • Your problem-solving skills are excellent. • You are looking for a job where performance appraisals occur regularly, and you look forward to advancing your career. • You seek a community of virtue-centered co-workers and clients.
