The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Junior Supply Chain Associate for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Walton, KY. Details for the position are as follows: Job Title: Junior Supply Chain Associate Division: Supply Chain Location: Walton, KY Distribution Center (Fully onsite) Duration: 8-Month Paid Opportunity Pay Rate: $24.50/hourAbout the Opportunity We’re not just supporting operations—we’re helping shape how products move efficiently from production to customers. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced distribution environment and is a great opportunity for early-career talent looking to build a strong foundation in supply chain and operations.A Day in the Life As a Junior Supply Chain Associate, you’ll join a dynamic team at a Walton, KY Distribution Center for an 8-month paid assignment. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates (within the last 12 months) who are eager to gain real-world supply chain experience while working on meaningful projects. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, support day-to-day operations, work with reporting systems, and help identify opportunities to improve processes through data and technology.What You’ll Be Doing • Inventory Management & Planning: Assist with inventory control, forecasting, and order processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations. • Continuous Improvement: Partner with cross-functional teams to identify, recommend, and implement process improvements. • Special Projects: Take ownership of key initiatives that support operational goals and team success. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain team members and utilize reporting tools to gain hands-on operational experience. What We’re Looking For You’ll be successful in this role if you: • Have recently earned a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (0–2 years of experience) • Possess strong analytical skills (engineering, computer science, or supply chain background is a plus) • Are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Communicate effectively and build positive cross-functional relationships • Are self-motivated, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment • Bring a customer-focused mindset and high emotional intelligence
