About the role Our client is a US-based intelligence platform that delivers AI-powered solutions to streamline access to quality care. They achieve this by improving healthcare economics, payer-provider collaboration, and cost containment. For them, we are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager in Latin America to lead and scale strategic, cross-functional initiatives that drive operational excellence, engineering velocity, and technical delivery. This role requires someone who thrives in complex environments, partners deeply with engineering and operations, translates business needs into execution plans, and ensures end-to-end delivery of critical technical programs, including DevOps, automation, system reliability, and platform improvements. The ideal candidate combines strong technical fluency, program execution rigor, skilled stakeholder management, and a bias toward measurable impact. What You’ll Do Program Leadership & Execution Lead large-scale, cross-functional technical programs from concept through delivery, including DevOps transformation, automation pipelines, reliability engineering, and platform modernization. Define clear program goals, success metrics, milestones, deliverables, and risks. Drive alignment across distributed teams, including Engineering, QA, SRE, Product, Release Management, and Operations. Technical Strategy & Coordination Partner with engineering leaders to translate strategy into actionable program plans. Surface gaps and dependencies early; coordinate resolution with cross-functional partners. Facilitate architectural and technical decision-making discussions as needed. Risk & Issue Management Identify program risks and blockers; proactively drive mitigation and resolution. Track progress, dependencies, and escalations across multiple workstreams. Communication & Stakeholder Management Serve as the communication hub for programs — creating clear, concise updates for executives and technical stakeholders. Support prioritization conversations with Product and Engineering leadership. Continuous Improvement Drive operational excellence across delivery practices, tooling, and workflows. Support post-mortems, retrospectives, and lessons learned to improve future execution What We’re Looking For - Must live in Latin America, have a really strong level of spoken and written English, and be able to work US Eastern Time office hours. Experience & Skills 8+ years of technical program or project management experience with demonstrated delivery of complex software and infrastructure programs. Strong technical foundation - comfortable partnering with engineering, and able to converse about DevOps tooling, automation, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, SRE practices, and observability. Proven track record in a fast-paced SaaS or healthcare technology environment. Leadership & Execution Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously. Strong influencing and negotiation skills - needs to be able to drive alignment without formal authority. Exceptional communicator (both written and verbal) with the ability to present status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership. Mindset & Culture Bias toward action, pragmatism in solving problems, and a growth mindset. Passion for improving developer and operational experiences. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity. Nice-to-haves Experience in healthcare technology, benefits, clinical systems, or revenue cycle automation. Familiarity with Jira workflows, automation tooling, observability platforms (e.g., DataDog/NewRelic), and cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) infrastructure. Experience leading organizational change around DevOps or reliability practices. Success Metrics This role will be evaluated on: On-time and high-quality delivery of key technical programs. Reduction in operational risk and production incidents due to improved automation and reliability practices. Clear, consistent communication and cross-team alignment. Improvement in engineering throughput is defined by measurable program outcomes.
