Warehouse Associate – Shipping & Receiving Alternate/Related Job Titles: Shipping Clerk, Receiving Associate, Warehouse Material Handler, Order Picker/Packer Location: Dallas, TX Contract Details: • Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm • Contract Length: Varies • Pay: $15/hour • Schedule: 9:00 AM until work is completed; overtime may be required Job Summary: The Warehouse Associate will support daily shipping and receiving operations within an auto parts warehouse. This role is essential for maintaining efficient order processing, accurate inventory tracking, and smooth warehouse workflow. Candidates should be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming auto parts shipments. • Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment. • Operate an RF scan gun to track inventory and update warehouse systems. • Maintain organized storage areas and perform cycle counts as needed. • Load and unload trucks using warehouse equipment (training provided if necessary). • Follow all company safety procedures and report any issues promptly. • Work overtime as needed to complete daily workloads. Required Experience: • Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations. • Hands-on experience using an RF scan gun is a must. • Ability to lift and move boxes of varying weights safely. Nice-to-Have Experience: • Experience working in an auto parts warehouse or distribution center. • Familiarity with warehouse management or inventory tracking systems. • Experience with pallet jacks or basic warehouse equipment.
