Overview Reporting to the Assistant Director of Analytics & Data, the Senior Data Analyst supports and helps drive Vinfen’s efforts to develop and present analytic reports. They coordinate the data collection and preparation, analysis, and presentation of state required outcomes for reporting. The Business Analyst will work to contribute and support initiatives and projects; develop and present analytic operational reports; and create, modify, and/or simplify operational processes and procedures. They support Vinfen’s efforts in identifying, manipulating, and synthesizing and analyzing data from a variety of sources for reporting and presenting to both internal stakeholders and to funders/regulatory and accreditation bodies. Responsibilities The essential job duties/responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the information listed below: • Contributes to Vinfen’s operational analytics efforts. Understands the organization’s current reporting process and end products and identifies any gaps and redundancies. Works with process end users to fully understand the current data available. Creates ongoing and/or one-time reports to support ongoing operational improvements.• Develops and maintains interactive dashboards and data visualization to support strategic decision making and communicating trends and/or solutions• Translates datasets into clear actionable insight through data modeling and user-friendly visualization• Contributes to the development and maintenance of reports for internal and external performance measure reporting.• Collaborates with internal stakeholders to define reporting needs and develop/customize dashboards for various reporting needs• Supports performance management by participating in assessment meetings and contributing to improvement initiatives.• Provides training and guidance to employees' data integrity and performance metrics, and reporting best practices• Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Typical Requirements:A minimum of three to five years of data analysis in government, human services, health care, or similar not for profit industries preferred. Preferred /Required Education:Bachelor’s degree in human services or business management related fields of study required; Master’s degree preferred. In some instances, experience may be substituted for academic training. Driving Requirements:Driving is not required. Physical Effort: Ability to lift at least 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques.Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copier, and printer.Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time as needed.Ability to bend, reach, file, sit, stand and move around the facility.Ability to speak, hear and communicate with clients, staff and external representatives.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Pay Range USD $70,000.00 - USD $70,000.00 /Yr.
