Full Description

Network Admin/ Network Support Engineer Location: Denver, CO 12+ Months 1. Must be a skilled security professional with a minimum 5 years' experience. 2. Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.) would be a plus 3. Experience with System administration, DB and cloud environment knowledge 4. Experience with Networking knowledge in 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G mobile networks 5. Experience with Windows, Solaris, Unix, Linux, IP, Telephony, Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel and Access) 6. Strong knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) 7. Ability to analyse requirements and translate them into solution design 8. Soft skills as described below 9. Experience with Integration, Customer Support, Troubleshooting, and Testing is a plus (details described below) Soft Skills: • Excellent communication, collaboration, and business skills - organizational, time management skills, etc. normally required to perform complex team oriented tasks • Advanced written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to succinctly and clearly express ideas internally and directly to customer through email, phone, face to face and other means • Able to work independently with minimal supervision • Ability to represent the Nokia team in Customer meetings without additional assistance • Experience with Integration, Customer Support, Troubleshooting, and Testing: • Operational knowledge of network hardware and software • Strong troubleshooting skills and an aptitude to learn new things. • Ability to analyze technical problems around product installation, configuration, integration • Experience with Customer Support including working in a customer facing role • Experience with MOP Development and testing of MOPs • Experience with Software upgrade and deployment • Experience with System integration • Experience with System testing and debugging • Experience configuring firewalls and load balancers • Experience with installing operating system software, patches and upgrades for Linux/Unix systems • Experience with installation, modification and maintenance of system and utility software on server computer systems • Experience with analysis, troubleshooting and resolution of system hardware, software and networking issues • Experience with configuration, optimization, fine-tuning and monitoring of operating system software and servers • Experience performing system backup and restoration • Experience analysing Requirement/user story for test case creation • Experience with user interface, functional, integration, application interface (API), and end to end testing • Experience with System testing and debugging • Experience using the Defect tracking tool e.g. Jira (preferred), HP Quality Center or similar.
