Job description: Now Hiring: Preschool Teacher Location: 26550 Grand River, Redford, MI 48240 Rate: $15 - $16 per hour Schedule: Full-Time Immediate Openings Available! Your Role: The Heart of the Classroom As a Preschool Teacher, you are more than an instructor—you are a mentor, a cheerleader, and a guide during a child's most formative years. What You’ll Do • Inspire Discovery: Plan and implement creative, hands-on lessons that make every day an adventure. • Cultivate Comfort: Maintain a warm, structured, and nurturing space where every child feels safe to be themselves. • Champion Growth: Observe, document, and celebrate the small wins and big milestones of every student. • Lead with Positivity: Use encouraging guidance strategies to help children develop social-emotional skills and big-hearted respect for others. • Partner with Families: Keep parents connected and inspired with meaningful updates on their child’s progress. • Collaborate: Team up with fellow educators to keep our school culture vibrant, supportive, and fun. What You Bring to the Village • The Foundation: High school diploma or college transcript (required). • The Credentials: A CDA in Preschool is preferred (or current enrollment in a CDA program). • The Experience: At least 1 year of preschool teaching experience is required. We’re looking for someone who loves the energy of this age group! • The Skillset: A deep understanding of early childhood development and a toolkit of positive guidance techniques. • The Connection: Excellent communication skills and a genuine love for working with families and teammates.
