Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician at Viken Detection, you will play a vital role in supporting our global customer base by providing expert training to service partners and ensuring the optimal performance of our detection systems. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be essential in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our equipment worldwide. What You'll Do: - You will conduct comprehensive training sessions for service partners globally to ensure proper system operation and maintenance. - You will diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with detection equipment both remotely and on-site. - You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance to maximize system uptime and reliability. - You will collaborate with engineering and customer support teams to resolve complex technical challenges. - You will document service activities and provide detailed reports to internal teams and clients. - You will travel internationally to support installations, upgrades, and emergency repairs. - You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of product developments and industry standards. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service or technical support roles, preferably in security or detection technology. - Strong diagnostic and repair skills with electronic and mechanical systems. - Excellent communication and training abilities to effectively transfer knowledge. - Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 50% of the time. - Proficiency with technical documentation and reporting tools. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with X-ray or radiation detection equipment. - Multilingual skills, especially in English and another major language. - Background in electronics engineering or related technical education. - Familiarity with global safety and compliance standards.
