Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician at Viken Detection, you will play a vital role in supporting our global customer base by providing expert training to service partners and delivering hands-on diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of our detection equipment. Your technical expertise and customer-focused approach will ensure optimal performance and satisfaction. What You'll Do: - You will conduct worldwide training sessions for service partners to ensure proper use and maintenance of Viken Detection products. - You will diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with detection equipment both remotely and on-site. - You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and reliability. - You will collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve complex technical challenges. - You will document service activities and provide detailed reports to internal teams and customers. - You will travel internationally to support installations, upgrades, and emergency repairs. - You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of product developments and industry standards. What You Bring: - You have at least 3 years of experience in field service or technical support roles, preferably in security or detection technology. - You possess strong diagnostic and repair skills with electronic and mechanical systems. - You have excellent communication skills to effectively train and support diverse global partners. - You are comfortable with international travel and adapting to different cultural environments. - You hold a technical degree or certification in electronics, engineering, or a related field. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with X-ray or radiation detection equipment. - Multilingual abilities, especially in languages such as Spanish, French, or German. - Familiarity with software tools for remote diagnostics and service management. - Previous experience working in a global customer support or training capacity.
