JOB DESCRIPTION Are you a detail-driven construction professional with a passion for accuracy, problem-solving, and helping projects come to life? We’re looking for an experienced construction Estimator / Senior Estimator to join our growing team in Southeast Michigan. What You’ll Do: • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects • Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to create detailed scopes of work for all work divisions • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and clients • Identify cost-saving opportunities and value-engineering options • Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and proposal development • Evaluate and qualify subcontractor bids for optimal project cost creation • Present budgets, schedules, and project cost summaries to prospective and/or existing clients What We’re Looking For: • 4-10+ years experience as a commercial construction estimator • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Construction Management/Civil Engineering • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documents • Proficiency with estimating/takeoff software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar) as well as Microsoft Office • Excellent communication, analytical, time management, and organizational skills • Commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines • Commercial construction field experience preferred Why Join Us: • Competitive pay and comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, 401k, and profit sharing • Supportive, team-focused, and autonomous work environment • Opportunities for growth and advancement • The opportunity to have a direct effect on award-winning projects that make a real impact in our community If you’re ready to bring your expertise to a company that values quality, integrity, and teamwork, we’d love to hear from you! SALARY RANGE The salary range for this role is $85,000–$110,000, with additional earning potential through annual bonuses and company profit-sharing.
