Position Overview Front-end Developer designs, develops, and implements web-based client applications using a variety of front-end tools and technologies to support business requirements. Follows approved Agile life cycle methodologies, adheres to modern JavaScript coding standards, and performs related front-end tasks. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Interfaces with Business Analysis and UI/UX teams. Required Skills • Strong experience developing client-side applications using modern JavaScript frameworks like Ember, React, Vue, or Angular • Experience consuming back-end APIs and working with front-end data layers or client-side data modeling tools • Experience with HTML, Handlebars, CSS, SASS, and Bootstrap • Extensive experience writing front-end automated tests using common JavaScript testing frameworks like qunit, mocha, jest, etc. • Working knowledge of DevOps-related tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Git • Experience providing production support and issue resolution Preferred Skills: • TypeScript development experience • Experience working within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) development environment • Experience with Atlassian Suite of tools, including Jira and Confluence • Possession of excellent communication and teamwork skills What We Offer • Competitive hourly rate (commensurate with experience). • Flexible, remote work arrangement. • Opportunity to contribute to a high-impact, federally mandated modernization initiative. • Collaborative environment with direct visibility on a nationally recognized federal program.
