VetsEZ is seeking a Junior Project Manager. The Junior Project Manager will support senior project and program managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of project activities. This role is ideal for an early-career project management professional looking to grow within a structured PMO environment while supporting complex, mission-driven federal programs. The candidate must reside within the continental US and the role is 100% remote. Responsibilities: • Support day-to-day project management activities across one or more projects or workstreams • Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and task tracking artifacts • Track project milestones, action items, risks, and issues • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports and meeting notes • Coordinate project meetings, stand-ups, and reviews • Support communication with team members, stakeholders, and partners • Assist with change management, dependency tracking, and requirements coordination • Ensure adherence to project management processes and reporting standards • Support continuous improvement of PM tools, templates, and processes Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 1–3 years of experience supporting projects or operational initiatives • Understanding of core project management concepts (scope, schedule, risks, dependencies) • Experience with project tracking or collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, SharePoint, Confluence) • Strong organizational and communication skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) Additional Qualifications: • Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or SAFe environments • Experience supporting federal or government IT projects • CAPM or entry-level project management certification (or coursework toward certification) Benefits: • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance • 401(k) with Employer Match • PTO and Federal Holidays • Corporate-provided Laptop • Training and Professional Development Opportunities • Fully Remote Role Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status.
