Full Description

VetsEZ is seeking an IRIS Technical Lead to support the Health Data Management (HDM-VDIF) program. This product line manages various software products, middleware platforms, system integrations, health data integrations, and Electronic Health Records (EHR) integrations. The candidate must reside within the continental US. Responsibilities: • Design and develop APIs, REST interfaces, and IRIS applications to support VA data integration and modernization. • Enhance VistA extraction and monitoring processes, adapting to Oracle Health metadata changes. • Build and maintain IRIS classes, ad hoc applications, and supporting documentation. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with journaling, data loads, and high-availability databases; perform upgrades and performance tuning. • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and UX requirements into technical solutions. • Contribute to Agile development cycles, including code reviews, testing, deployment, and knowledge sharing. • Lead and support development teams to ensure application stability, quality, and alignment with project goals. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. • 8+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with proficiency in front-end (React, HTML, CSS, JS), back-end (Java, Python, Spring Boot), and databases (IRIS, Cache, Postgres, SQL). • 5+ years with InterSystems technologies (IRIS, HealthShare, ObjectScript, MUMPS, HL7, JSON, XML, CCDA). • Hands-on experience with integration protocols (REST, SOAP, TCP/IP, SFTP) and CI/CD (GitHub, GitLab). • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and tools such as JIRA and Confluence. • Experience leading teams, conducting code reviews, and supporting test automation (JUnit, Cypress) Additional Qualifications: • Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher) and cloud platforms (AWS). • Familiarity with telehealth or VA healthcare systems. • InterSystems certifications (IRIS, HL7, SQL, HealthShare) preferred. • Ability to obtain a government clearance.
