We are looking for a Veterinarian product manager with knowledge of AI systems to partner directly with our engineering team in shaping the strategy and execution of VetRec’s products. This is a highly technical job, blending the worlds of Veterinary and Engineering. This is the first opening we have in shaping our Medical AI standards and owning the product lifecycle of existing and new product lines/ This is a remote position, with a preference in Seattle where our HQ is located at. What You’ll Be Doing Work closely with Engineering team in managing and owning different product lines end-to-end. Serve as Q&A with Veterinary knowledge on existing and new product lines. Get in engineering design reviews and into the engineering specifics of a feature or a new product line. Represent VetRec at conferences. Work closely with our CTO in shaping the product strategy. Engage with our existing clients about their experience using VetRec - Passing and distilling down feedback to the engineering team. Requirements Be a Veterinarian who practiced in clinics for at least 3 years. Practice in clinics one week per quarter as relief work. We want this person to actively test features/fixes/improvements in clinical practice. Very familiar with LLM development (evals, different LLM models and APIs, hallucination and guardrails, and more). Must be an excellent communicator. Must understand engineering terminology and distill it in veterinarian terminology for both engineers and customers. A consultative and growth mindset — you’re comfortable leading technical discussions with customers and turning them into actionable solutions.
