Role Description: The Manager, FP&A and Financial Operations will be an integral part of the Finance team and will work closely with the Senior Vice President, Finance, on all things related to company financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, provider compensation, analysis, and reporting. They will also work cross-functionally with VIP's Operations team, specifically our Regional Managers, to stand up new reporting (KPIs, etc.) and enhance existing reporting that allows for real-time decision making at our hospital level. Key Responsibilities • Need live in or willing to relocate to Franklin, TN or surrounding areas. • Produce monthly and quarterly provider production bonus calculations ensuring calculations are accurate before submitting to payroll for payment. • Serve as a subject matter expert on provider compensation methodologies, providing analysis, insights, and recommendations to leadership. • Be a producer and thought partner in our annual budgeting process and in-year forecasting, working closely with the Senior Vice President, Finance, Chief Operating Officer, Regional Managers, and broader Executive Leadership Team. • Leverage PowerBI reports and data to derive key themes, trends, and meaningful insights to share with leadership • Partner with the Operations team to analyze monthly & YTD performance across VIP hospitals. • Support the Senior Vice President, Finance with the creation of monthly financial results presentations as well as quarterly Board of Directors presentations. • Partner with the Senior Vice President, Finance, Chief Medical Officer, and Regional Managers to define and develop operational metric and KPI reporting to drive performance. • Complete ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Executive Leadership Team and / or PE sponsor. • Consistently look for ways to improve / automate existing processes. • Work closely with IT and data teams to continuously improve Power BI dashboards and reporting capabilities. • Be a flexible team player, willing to wear multiple hats and contribute wherever needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Experience with provider compensation calculations preferred; prior experience managing or designing provider compensation models strongly preferred. • Veterinary industry experience • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills. • NetSuite ERP experience a plus. • Power BI experience a plus. • Experience working in a high growth multi-site organization preferred. • Experience working for a PE backed company preferred. • Self-starter with ability to work with a great deal of autonomy. • Excellent organization and time management skills. • Excellent communication and leadership skills. • Excellent analytical abilities. Able to assess available data and convert it to useful decision-making information. • Independent thinker, while operating in a collaborative team environment. • Proven ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional teams. Requirements • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting. • 5+ years in a FP&A, Accounting, M&A, or similar role(s). • Experience handling or managing provider compensation calculations is preferred. • Familiarity with healthcare, veterinary, or service-based industries a plus.
