Full time team members are scheduled 4 days a week at 36 hours. With your schedule posted at least one month in advance, you can make plans to do the things important to you! Requirements At Peak Paws Advanced Veterinary Hospital, we treat our clients with compassion and an understanding that their pet is part of their family. We are looking for your passion for providing quality care to both pets and their human relatives. Shifts alternate between assisting for in-hospital patient care treatments and assisting with diagnostics and treatments for outpatients. Responsibilities include obtaining TPRs, walking patients, giving oral medications, assisting with blood draws and x-rays, and assisting our assistants and technicians as needed with patient care duties. Assistants are also all expected to clean patient care spaces, help with organizing and stocking of supplies, and keeping up with laundry. No previous experience is required, and we provide progressive training. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, able to multi-task, possess a great attitude, learn quickly, comfortable around dogs and cats, and have a good attention to detail. Part-time employees must be able to work an average of 1 weekend shift and one weekday shift each week; various shifts available daily since we are a 24/7 practice. We are able to accommodate changing college schedules each semester with advance notice. Full Time and Part Time positions on all shifts available.
