JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Sr. Conversation Designer Location: 100% Remote (U.S. Only) Citizenship Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen Duration: 6–8 Month Contract (Potential for Full-Time Conversion) Quantity: 4 Openings Target Start Date: 3/16 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Conversation Designer to conceptualize, develop, and deliver compelling natural language interactions for members and healthcare providers. This role sits within the Digital Innovation Acceleration team and focuses on multimodal conversational experiences across chatbots and emerging voice assistant products. IMPORTANT – Submission Requirement Candidates must complete the Senior Conversation Designer Assessment in Glider. Please include the Glider assessment link on the resume at time of submission. Key Responsibilities • Gather technical and product requirements; create dialogue flows and prototypes for voicebots and virtual assistants • Design scalable, intuitive conversational experiences across omnichannel platforms • Establish and maintain voice and conversation design best practices • Analyze user interaction data to drive product improvements • Lead human-centered design initiatives to solve complex healthcare needs • Conduct user needs analysis and define workflows to guide development • Partner with research teams to test prototypes and refine experiences • Champion conversation design practices across teams • Present solutions to cross-functional teams and senior leadership Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in HCI, UX Design, UX Content, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 5+ years portfolio demonstrating voice/text conversational flows and digital interface design • 3+ years designing conversational chat agents or voice assistants • Strong technical understanding of conversational platforms, APIs, and NLP technology • Strong writing skills with ability to adapt tone and voice • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in Agile environments • Deep understanding of UX research and user-centered design principles • Experience creating conversation design tools, systems, and frameworks • Strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Dialogflow AND Voiceflow • Experience in regulated industries (Healthcare, Financial Services, Telecom, Insurance) • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) • Experience facilitating large cross-functional workshops • Multilingual/localization experience • UX Writing / Conversation Design / AI-related certifications Job Type: Contract Pay: $55.00 - $69.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: Remote
