Field Service Engineering role, New Jersey Based OEM of Electronic Control Systems for Essential Industries Work on Unique/Customizable systems control, data collection, network and electronics connected automation type systems. Newly Created role with an Expanding Company, Managerial Culture towards utilizing the best available technology and tools to increase customer satisfaction and maximize profitability. Extremely Bright and Collaborative Teams Focused Environment, History of Internal Promotions. Desired Skills/Experience/Profile: • Experience installing or troubleshooting Electronic Control Systems (SCADA, MES, HMI, DCS or similar) for Industrial Type Environments. • PLC programming (Current experience Writing or Customizing Ladder Logic code) and/or related PLC technology. • HMI Experience: Experience customizing and configuring custom or off the shelf HMI User interfacing type software. • Experience connecting PLC based systems to a network through TCP/IP, routers/switches/hubs, Windows or other networking environments. • Strong Verbal Communication Skills and proven Time Management (task Prioritization) skills. • Must be willing to travel (25% max) Pluses: (not required/nice to have any of these) • Experience with OR knowledge of PCB's (Printed Circuit Boards), wiring and other low level electronics and how to troubleshoot and/or replace low level electronics inside industrial electro-mechanical manufacturing-automated systems. • Electrical Engineering Training or Study; A College Degree [A.S. or B.S. Degree] in Electrical Engineering, or Military Training or Technical School training is a preferred. • Experience working in similar Electronics Field Engineering role is also a plus.
