Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team supporting a critical government contract focused on Veteran Suicide Prevention Technical Assistance. This is a remote position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on veteran mental health and suicide prevention efforts nationwide. Location Remote within the United States (travel required) About the Project This position supports a Veteran Suicide Prevention Technical Assistance project working with a government contractor. You will play a vital role in developing and implementing technical assistance and training programs designed to prevent veteran suicide and support mental health initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Support the development and implementation of suicide prevention technical assistance and training programs • Plan, coordinate, and manage logistics for events, workshops, and training sessions • Design curriculum and build engaging training content for various audiences • Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation related to project activities • Coordinate with stakeholders, partners, and team members to ensure project success • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and administrative tasks • Assist with the development of training materials and resources Required Qualifications • Proven experience in suicide prevention technical assistance and training implementation and development • Strong event planning, coordination, and logistics management skills • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum design and training content development • Excellent report writing and documentation abilities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Willingness and ability to travel as needed for project requirements • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Microsoft Planner • Learning Management System (LMS) experience • Licensed Social Work background highly preferred • Veteran status highly preferred What We Offer • Remote work flexibility within the United States • Opportunity to contribute to meaningful work supporting veteran mental health • Collaborative team environment • Professional development opportunities How to Apply Interested candidates should submit their resume and a cover letter describing their relevant experience and interest in supporting veteran suicide prevention efforts.
