National Sales Manager – Distribution Channels (Compressors & Air Tools) Location: Remote, North America Salary: $150,000 base + commissions A leading manufacturer of compressors and air tools is seeking a Regional Sales Manager / National Sales Manager / Territory Sales Manager to accelerate growth, specifically through distribution networks across North America. This business is well established in the compressed air sector, offering a full portfolio ranging from oil-free and ultra-quiet units to portable and industrial compressors, plus a professional range of air tools. With strong momentum across dental, medical, food & beverage, construction, and wider industrial markets, the focus is now on strengthening channel partnerships and expanding distributor-led revenue. This role is ideal for a sales professional who knows how to build, activate, and scale distributor relationships while driving measurable growth across diverse markets. Compensation • Base salary around $150,000, plus commission structure • 401(k) • Fully remote, with travel across North America Responsibilities • Build, expand, and manage distributor and dealer networks across targeted regions. • Develop and execute channel-led go-to-market strategies within new and existing market verticals. • Drive revenue growth by activating branches, increasing SKU presence, delivering training, and strengthening category partnerships. • Lead strategic discussions with key distribution partners and national accounts. • Monitor competitor activity to refine territory and channel strategies. • Mentor and support sales teams to maximize performance and partnership outcomes. • Collaborate with senior leadership to align distribution strategy with broader business growth goals. Requirements • Proven success in distribution-focused Regional / National / Territory Sales roles within compressors, air tools, or rotating equipment. • 5–10 years of industry experience with a strong network across distributors, dealers, and buying groups. • Track record of growing channel revenue and developing high-performing partnerships. • Skilled in negotiation, relationship-building, and strategic account development. • Strong mix of strategic thinking and hands-on distributor support. • Willingness to travel across North America.
