Senior Business Analyst Vertical Relevance is seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our growing team. This full-time remote role is ideal for someone passionate about transformation, leadership, and delivering impactful solutions. You’ll be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of Business Analysis from planning and design to deployment and optimization. Strong experience preparing Bank regulatory packages and working with document management systems. This position requires strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills to ensure customer success across diverse engagements. Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Business Analyst to support regulatory reporting in a Banking domain/Financial Services GRC and document management initiatives, particularly around Matters Requiring Attention (MRAs) and Matters Requiring Immediate Attention (MRIAs). The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and efficient document governance. This role will focus on preparing regulatory packages (closure narrative, traceability matrix, and aligning all artifacts in the clients document management system). Key Responsibilities: Regulatory Reporting: Collaborate with Risk, Banking Compliance, and Finance teams to gather and analyze requirements for regulatory submissions. Support the preparation and filing of reports to regulatory bodies (e.g.,FHA, FRB, OCC, FDIC). Ensure data accuracy and completeness in reports such as Basel III, CCAR, COREP, and other capital adequacy frameworks. Assist in implementing and maintaining reporting tools and automation solutions. Monitor HR/Banking regulatory changes and assess impact on reporting processes. Banking MRA/MRIA Document Management: Develop and maintain a centralized repository for MRA/MRIA documentation. Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for automation and improvement. Ensure proper categorization, metadata tagging, and indexing of documents for efficient retrieval. Liaise with internal audit and compliance teams to track remediation efforts and deadlines. Facilitate change management and user training for document management systems. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics. 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services. Strong experience preparing regulatory packages in Financial Services Domain (closure narrative, traceability matrix, and aligning all artifacts in the clients document management system). 8+ Business Analysis experience in a Financial Services domain, BRD, FRD, Roadmaps, Regulatory Process around MRA, MRIA's. Strong understanding of HR regulatory frameworks and reporting obligations a plus. Experience with document management systems and workflow automation. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with regulatory reporting platforms (e.g., systems, Axiom, Wolters Kluwer). Knowledge of HR, US GAAP, IFRS, and Basel III regulations. Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Prior involvement in MRA/MRIA remediation projects. Why Vertical Relevance?
