Job Description Revenue Accounting Senior Manager General/Position Summary The Global Revenue Accounting Senior Manager is primarily responsible for leading, evaluating and documenting accounting under US GAAP revenue accounting guidance ( ASC 606) for the Company's product revenues. The Global Revenue Accounting Senior Manager has responsibility to review the application of accounting to complex gross to net accounts as well disclosures in the Company's financial statements and footnotes. This role will develop, maintain and share policy and training tools with members of the revenue accounting team regarding US GAAP accounting guidance and application. The Global Revenue Accounting Senior Manager partners with regional accounting teams, global finance functions as well as the Company's external auditors. This is a contract role - covering a leave of absence. Expected to be April and May. Chance to extend. Key Duties & Responsibilities Lead the team's revenue recognition evaluation (ASC 606) relating to new product launches, new contracts and reimbursement agreements Partner with a cross functional team that reviews and supports the contract drafting process Lead accounting review of new agreements and/ or complex gross to net; ensure technical accounting conclusion is applied appropriately by local accounting teams Lead documentation of accounting policies (focus on revenue and gross to net) work with International and North America revenue accounting as needed Build partnerships with global accounting, finance and commercial organizations in support of financial reporting requirements both internal and external Partner with SEC Reporting team to prepare revenue related disclosures supporting SEC filings Play a key role in the Company's quarterly and annual reviews and audit including the preparation of revenue recognition memos, audit schedules and other auditor requests Partner with International Accounting Team in support of statutory audits and financial statements Required Education Level Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance Required Experience Typically requires 7 years of progressive accounting experience in pharmaceutical or life science revenue accounting or technical accounting role or the equivalent combination of education and experience Public accounting experience required Required Knowledge/Skills Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of software (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.) ASC 606 work expereince is REQUIRED.
